Toughened

Toughened glass is a general term used to describe fully tempered or heat-strengthened glass.

Laminated

Laminated panes of glass are assembled from two sheets of glass sandwiching an interlayer, providing greater safety and security. Speciality interlayers can be specified to reduce UV and solar heat gain, improve thermal performance, address wind load in cyclonic areas, and more.

Energy-Efficient Performance Glazing

Low-E glazing reflects direct solar heat and re-radiates internal heat. The coating works in all climates to prevent heat from entering or escaping from the building, improving internal comfort and ensuring energy costs to heat and cool the space are kept to a minimum.

High Impact-Resistant Glazing

If the project calls for heightened security, specification of bullet resistant or high-impact glazing can be installed within the IG Blinds® unit. This may include a combination of a speciality glass and interlayer, with each project requiring a tailored solution.

Sound Attenuation Glazing

Acoustic glazing can reduce disturbing outside noise, especially near busy freeways, airports, and noisy inner-city locations. Different glazing combinations on IGU facings address a variety of acoustic concerns, and need to be tailored to provide the optimum solution.

AIG Fire-Resistant Glazing

Legislation now applies in several regions Australia-wide for fire-resistant glazing to be installed in public infrastructure and residential buildings. IG Blinds® can also be installed within these double-glazed units to meet bushfire building regulations

AIG Cleaning Glazing Treatment

EnduroShield protects the entire glazed area from staining and etching, while significantly reducing cleaning time and general maintenance. EnduroShield is highly recommended for all commercial, public and residential applications.
